For me, most Democrats sound like electric drills – not pleasant. However, there is one Democrat who I would not mind in the White House. Zell Miller was the keynote speaker at the 2004 Republican National Convention, and many of his positions are more in line with the Republican Party than his own. He is a pro-life, pro-growth, pro-business, pro-military politician who has America’s best interests at heart. If it weren’t for the current situation in the Senate, I would say Zell would be an excellent pick for a Presidential Ticket with a Conservative Republican, such as Romney. Zell’s positions are pretty similar with a Conservative Republican, and he would have the ability to attract both Democrats and Independents. Actually, if he would reconsider his party affiliation, even a switch to Independent, I would say he would be a good choice for VP.
