I was not home at all yesterday, so I’m a day late in getting these polls to you, but here are the latest Michigan polls:
Rasmussen Michigan GOP Primary
Mitt Romney 26% John McCain 25% Mike Huckabee 17% Fred Thompson 9% Ron Paul 8% Rudy Giuliani 6%
ARG Michigan GOP Primary
John McCain 34% Mitt Romney 27% Mike Huckabee 15% Ron Paul 9% Rudy Giuliani 5% Fred Thompson 4%
Detroit News Michigan GOP Primary
John McCain 27% Mitt Romney 26% Mike Huckabee 19% Rudy Giuliani 6% Fred Thompson 5% Ron Paul 4%
Detroit Free Press Michigan GOP Primary

MSNBC/Mason Dixon Michigan GOP Primary
Mitt Romney 30% John McCain 22% Mike Huckabee 17% Fred Thompson 7% Rudy Giuliani 6% Ron Paul 5%
Mitchell Research Michigan GOP Primary
McCain – 22% Romney – 21% Huckabee – 12% Paul – 7% Giuliani – 7% Thompson – 3%
Its a real mess, isn’t it? Over the summer, Michigan proved to be a relatively difficult state to poll – rarely producing consistent results. It appears that, minus the ARG poll, these polls are all pretty much in-line with each other, so we can probably say that Romney and McCain are tied, with the possibility of Romney having a slight edge. That said, remember how wrong all the NH polls were.
