		<description>STRESS

We&#039;re a nation of frazzled families
With little time for personal affection.
As the treadmills of tension keep us hostage
We&#039;re losing our perspective of direction.

Racing to get the kids off to school,
Navigating the madness of bottleneck traffic.
Fearful of our own job-loss and income,
While the newscasts get more hopeless and graphic.

Helping our children with their home work
Scrambling to prepare their dinner.
Having family spats with loved ones
And being told on Sunday, we&#039;re a sinner.

Worrying about crime, taxes, cancer and terrorism
Infectious disease and paying next months bills.
Saving for college and our own retirement
It&#039;s no wonder we drink, smoke, pray and pop pills.

JOBLESS

Come Monday morning without warning
Your boss decides to let you go.
As you listen to each and every word
The blood in your veins increases its flow.

You worry about family with all their needs
And, oh my what will my wife do and say.
Your heart is heavy and your throat is dry
While you wonder if you’ll make it through the day.

There&#039;s a house, two cars, doctor bills and credit cards
All who expect to be paid.
What little you’ve saved will soon be gone
And for the outcome of all, you’re afraid.

<description>FYI, modern liberals did not invent the concept of separation of church and state. THAT idea originated with Thomas Jefferson. He wrote:

&quot;Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between Man &amp; his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, &amp; not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should &quot;make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,&quot; thus building a &lt;b&gt;wall of separation between Church &amp; State.&lt;/b&gt;&quot;

<description>The age-old pesky U.S.-Mexico border problem has taxed the resources of both countries, led to long lists of injustices, and appears to be heading only for worse troubles in the future. Guess what? The border problem can never be solved. Why? Because the border IS the problem! It&#039;s time for a paradigm change.

Never fear, a satisfying, comprehensive solution is within reach: the Megamerge Dissolution Solution. Simply dissolve the border along with the failed Mexican government, and megamerge the two countries under U.S. law, with mass free 2-way migration eventually equalizing the development and opportunities permanently, with justice and without racism, and without threatening U.S. sovereignty or basic principles.

<title>Comment on Why Does the Government Recognize Marriage? by Cliff Hutchison</title>

		<description>Just checked the US Constitution.

Nothing about marriage.

Get the federal government OUT of it.

As for the States:

Why would I voluntarily submit my marriage to the state government by signing a marriage certificate?

I personally prefer an unregistered marriage, along with an unregistered church, an unregistered printing press, an unregistered soapbox, ....

There is NO &quot;ban on gay marriage&quot;, as far as I know, if you don&#039;t want a marriage &quot;license&quot;. I know of churches that have been performing gay weddings for over a decade in my city of Portland, Oregon. I know of friends who&#039;ve gotten married (men to women, if you need to know) without marriage licenses; you don&#039;t need them. I do not need or want one, either.

State licenses and certificates are only for making money for the government and getting the government&#039;s blessing, something I consider more of a curse.

I suspect that the push for gay marriage is really about getting the government&#039;s blessing, and giving them money is considered a small price to pay for what is considered &quot;legitimacy&quot;.

<description>The GOP will never win on a national scale by focusing on the Democrats, whether it&#039;s to criticize, oppose, imitate, differentiate or whatever. That only allows them to lead every debate topic, and makes us always look like the little kid brother.

Ignore the Dems.

Focus on what the job of governance is really all about.

The Constitution.
The Bill of Rights.
The rule of law.

American government has drifted FAR from these principles during my lifetime.

It is why the economy is in turmoil.

It is why our society is fractured into cliques.

It is why we are hated in much of the world (when we Americans were universally admired only a couple of generations ago).

It is why &quot;politician&quot; has become a dirty word.

It is why most people don&#039;t vote.

Our country (and the world with it) are nearing a tipping point.

From truth to deception.

From development to depression.

From hope to despair.

From life to death.

From freedom to fascism.

It&#039;s time to put the Democrat&#039;s play book away and figure out what kind of government would be best. Not what would be a little better than our opponents. Or would give people what they want, but can&#039;t pay for. Or would get so-and-so elected.

Rubbish!

It&#039;s time to get out the Republic&#039;s play book and figure out what kind of government it &quot;guarantees to the States&quot;.

Just upon leaving the Constitutional Convention, after finishing all the deliberations and debates and drafts and votes, Ben Franklin was asked by a lady outside the Philadelphia hall, &quot;Well, what have you given us?&quot;

Franklin replied, &quot;a republic, if you can keep it.&quot;

If we can keep it.

Keep it from overrunning it&#039;s defined limits.

Keep it from trampling on inalienable rights.

Keep it from usurping the powers of the States.

Keep it from becoming a democracy, monarchy, commune, anarchy, oligarchy, theocracy, aristocracy or anything else that the founders specifically ruled out during that convention in 1787.

I write these things to you because I hope and trust that you will hear and respond. I have read many of your comments on race42008.com. Your thoughts are clear and concise, you seem to see the problems with the horse-race mentality, the sports-betting-pool mentality, the &quot;who do you think&#039;s gonna win?&quot; nonsense.

If I am correct about your inclinations, I hope that you will be encouraged to re-learn the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Dig into Madison&#039;s notes on the Constitutional Convention when something is not clear.

We need thinkers and statesmen in these dark days, not more pundits, commentators, and critics. I think that you aspire to be the former, not the latter.

All my best,

Courage

Truth

Honor

In Liberty I am always,
