Alot of attention has been put towards the 2008 Presidential Election and the coinciding Congressional elections, and for good reason. The 2008 Elections will decide the control of the White House for the next four years and could very well shift Congress back into Republican hands in both houses. However, as important as those elections are, we have to get through the 2007 elections first. There are three Gubernatorial elections this year (Mississippi, Louisiana, Kentucky) and there will be one special election in the Georgia 10th Congressional District to replace former Congressman Norwood, who dies earlier this month.
I’ll keep you updated on who is running and who wins, and any possible power-balance changes that occur. However, because the importance of these elections is limited, I will probably not have alot of posting on my site related to these elections.
