April 4th – that could be the day that Mitt Romney’s campaign really takes off. That is the day of the first Republican debate. Rudy Giuliani and John McCain have both declined invitations, that will leave Mitt Romney as the only major candidate on stage. This will give him an opportunity to get him name and face out there. He will be able to portary himself as a Conservative and possibly put in a couple hits towards the two frontrunners. That could allow him to continue to perform well in the two May debates, and if he can mount a good summer and fall campaign, he could take the Iowa Caucus.
