Romney has the Most Experience

That may seem like an unusual statement, but he has the most experience where it counts – executive experience.

The Presidency is an executive position. McCain, Brownback, Hagel, Thompson, and Gingrich all have legislative experience. This is commendable, but when it comes to executive experience, there are really only two candidates who fit the bill, Romney and Giuliani. These are the only two big name, major candidates who have experience holding an office in the executive branch. I have already explained why Giuliani is not an acceptable candidate, meaning that Romney is really the only acceptable (and experienced) candidate.

Just one of the many reasons to support Mitt Romney for President

  1. Romney may have experience, but not as being a conservative.

Do you want media favorability and “experience.” Or a true conservative?

If the former, you have a number of choices: RINO Rudy and Flipper Romney or washed-up McCain.

If the latter, the choice is clear: Sam Brownback.

I hope you haven’t counted him out yet. It’s still early and he even polls well against Hillary Clinton.

  2. That is the experience that counts. And voters know that. That is why you need to go back to JFK to find someone elected without executive experience.

  3. totaltransformation, I’m afraid I don’t understand what you are saying, why would we want to elect inexperienced people? Romeny knows how to be an executive, how to deal with a hostile legislature, Senators don’t (at least not to as great of a degree). Executive experience is what counts. The Presidency is an executive position.

  4. Psycheout, unfortunately, I cannot support Brownback as a main choice. I came very close to supporting Brownback, but he lost all my support when he came out against the Troop Surge. He is about #5 on my list.

Btw, If you have read my blog, you will know how I feel about Romney and Conservative – Becoming a member of the right side should never hurt you.

  5. As long as you are a member of the right side and not simply pandering to conservatives in an attempt to get their support. Will Romney flip when it’s convenient?

    Time will tell.
