Romney Leads Big in NH, IA

Well, a couple weeks ago, it looked like Rudy was making it a close race in NH. Now, well, he trails big. I don’t know what Romney is doing right, but it is clearly working. He now has a 15% lead in the Granite state, and a 16% lead in Iowa. Here are the latest polls:

ZOGBY – IOWA CAUCUS – NOV. 7, 2008

  • Romney – 31% (33)
  • Huckabee – 15% (8)
  • Giuliani – 11% (14)
  • Thompson – 10% (12)
  • McCain – 8% (6)
  • Paul – 4% (3)
  • Tancredo – 3% (3)
  • Hunter – 1% (1)
  • RASMUSSEN – NEW HAMPSHIRE PRIMARY – NOV. 8, 2007

  • Mitt Romney 32%
  • Rudy Giuliani 17%
  • John McCain 16%
  • Mike Huckabee 10%
  • Fred Thompson 7%
  • Ron Paul 4%
  • This is great news for Romney. And, while I’m not saying that the Pat Robertson endorsement doesn’t mean anything, I think I would take double-didget leads in early states over one endorsement every time.
